Don't miss Super Tax Day, a free tax assistance event open to the public held at the
University of Holy Cross in collaboration with Entergy. The event will take place
on Saturday, February 24th from 9AM to 3PM at the Moreau Center on the university
campus, located at 4123 Woodland Drive in New Orleans.
All are encouraged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity for free tax assistance,
eliminating the need for costly professional services. The event aims to provide support
to individuals in preparing and filing their taxes accurately with expert guidance
and support.
What Guests Should Bring:
- Proof of Identification
- Social Security Cards for the individual, their spouse, and any dependents, or a Social Security Number verification letter issued by the Social Security Administration
- Birth dates for the individual, their spouse, and any dependents on the tax return
- Current year’s tax package (if received)
- Wage and earning statement(s) Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R from all employers
- Interest and dividends statements from banks (Forms 1099)
- A copy of last year’s federal and state returns, if available
- Bank routing numbers and account numbers for Direct Deposit
- Total paid for daycare provider and the daycare provider’s tax identification number
- Both spouses must be present to sign the required form for electronic filing on a married-filing jointly return
Attendees do not need to RSVP, and all walk-ins are welcome. Taxpayers are advised to arrive before 2 PM to allow sufficient time to complete their returns before closing.
